Support political action on behalf of industry positions on major infrastructure investment, streamlined and effective government procedures, and enhanced public perception and recognition.
Participate in committees, task forces, and special events involving industry leaders and public officials of diverse backgrounds and experience.
Receive timely information and communications on industry- related changes and progress, including frequent newsletters and alerts.
Identify with the City’s largest industry and one of its most important economic engines.
2001 Annual Dues Categories
Regular Membership – $1,500 includes Building Congress Newsletters, Annual Report, legislative and special reports, committee involvement, event discounts, all general mailings.
Sponsor’s Club – $2,500 includes Building Congress Newsletters, Annual Report, legislative and special reports, committee involvement, event discounts, all general mailings and one guest invitation to all Construction Industry Breakfast Forums.
President’s Council – $5,000 President’s Council members are leaders in the Building Congress. Members are active in chairing working committees and setting the Building Congress agenda. Council members receive regular membership benefits, two guest invitations to all Construction Industry Breakfast Forums and prominent listing in publications including the Annual Report.
Chairman’s Club – $10,000 Chairman’s Club members are in the forefront of all Building Copngress activities. Members are expected to take a leadership role in committees, on the Board of Directors and in other matters that chart the course of the Building Congress. In addition to regular membership benefits, Chairman’s Club members receive an invitation to the Annual Chairman’s Club Dinner, two guest invitations to all Construction Industry Forums, an invitation to all Council of Presidents meetings, VIP seating at all major events, and prominent listing in Building Congress publications including the Annual Report.
Special Rate – To encourage small, minority and women-owned businesses
to join the Building Congress, a special $500 rate is available for firms that are
certified M/WBE’s. They receive all the benefits of regular membership.

Membership entitles up to four people from your firm to be on our mailing list. Each will receive all mailings of the New York Building Congress.
