The New York Building Congress mourns the death of Police Officers Jason Rivera and Wilbert Mora, who were killed in the line of duty. With Thursday and Friday set as days of mourning in New York City, we have decided to postpone our Annual Membership Meeting and Construction Industry Luncheon to Thursday, February 10 out of respect.
If you have previously purchased a ticket, it will be honored on February 10 with no changes. If you would like to change the name of who will attend on your organization’s behalf, please email Ilan Stern, istern@buildingcongress.com.
We plan to make a donation to the New York Police & Fire Widows & Children’s Benefit Fund, which will make a contribution to Officer Rivera’s wife. We encourage you to join us if you are able to make a donation: https://www.answerthecall.org/
